Founder/President

Joshua is a Founder and President of Silvercap Wealth Management. Josh grew up on an acreage outside of Colfax, Iowa. Before starting his career in financial services, he enlisted in the Iowa ARMY National Guard and went on to graduate from Fort Benning where he was assigned as a paratrooper to the 194th Long Range Surveillance Detachment (Airborne). After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa, he was commissioned as an Officer serving in the Iowa ARMY National Guard and the ARMY Reserves.

Josh’s first experience as a Financial Advisor was for a fraternal life insurance company based out of the Midwest. Rising in the ranks quickly, Josh soon became one of the top advisors in the company. After developing his client base for six years, Josh transitioned to Des Moines where he served for seven years as a Senior Investment Advisor for one of the top investment advisory firms in the nation.

Josh and his wife Tami live near Van Meter with their daughter Josie and son Walker. Josh is a member of the United Methodist Church, Isaac Walton League, AMVETS, plus other community causes. In his spare time, Josh enjoys hunting, off-roading, SCUBA diving, and spending time with family and friends.
